You felt we could offer patients more information on mental health services available to them.
We have introduced the use of "Information Prescriptions" for diabetic patients which will help you to understand and manage your condition. This will be discussed with you at your annual review with the Practice Nurse.

One of the things you said we could improve on was confidentiality in the waiting room, this has been an ongoing issue for some time as the layout of the building makes it difficult for us to accommodate this as well as we'd like. Due to this we have put a display in the waiting room informing patients that you can speak to a member if staff in private if you would like to, just let a member of the team know.
One response had concerns relating to mental health and that other aspects of health got more attention. We are aware of the difficulties that patients experience and do offer a variety of appointments such as telephone consultations and urgent on the day appointments. We also hold Wellness in Mind drop in sessions every other Tuesday afternoon during term time. The dates and times are available here. We have also created a "how to access support services" leaflet which is available in the reception area, on our website and also this will be a topic of one of this years in house training sessions to see how we can further improve our promotion & monitoring of mental health.
A suggestion that came from our other site we felt would also be useful for Students is the promotion of the NHS app which you can find more info on here.
