Need a blood test?
Blood clinics CHANGING FROM 11th September (Students & Radford patients)
They key changes are as follows: There will be no blood clinic on Wednesday mornings anymore & there is going to be a blood clinic held for students only on Fridays at The Student Health Centre. The new times are as follows:
Monday 08:15am - 10:45am for both Radford patients and students held at Radford
Thursday 08:15am - 10:45am for both Radford patients and students held at Radford
Friday 08:45am - 11:15am for both Radford patients and students held at Radford

These are all still drop in clinics so appointments aren't necessary as long as you come in between the designated times above.
EPS (Electronic Prescription Service)
EPS is a more convenient way to get your prescription. From 15th September we will be starting to send patients prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy. Please ask your local pharmacist for more information or pick up a leaflet from reception to find out how this could save you time.

Every patient now has a named accountable GP
From April 2015 all GP practices are required to provide their patients with a named GP, who will be responsible for the co-ordination of the care and support that the Practice gives them.
If you would like to know your named GP please contact reception. Important: you will still be able to see any other GP within the Practice as you currently do.
Closed for training dates
Occasionally we have to close the surgery due to training sessions. Depending on how long these training sessions are we are often able to reopen the surgery in the evening, usually from 5 o'clock onwards. Listed below are some upcoming dates where this will be happening.

The practice has enabled software to share your GP medical record with urgent care services. This means that if you need urgent care treatment (A&E, Out of hours GP, Walk-in centre) the clinician treating you will ask for your consent for them to view your GP medical record; if you do not wish them to view your GP medical record you can decline access.
The type of information shared is restricted and includes a summary of current problems, current medication, allergies, recent tests, diagnosis, procedures, investigations, risks and warnings - all of this information is currently held in your GP system record.
